We, M/S SONAK ENGINEERING PVT. LTD., are an ISO 9001-2008 certified SSI unit engaged in the field of manufacturing of precision machinery parts and locomotive components and fabrication of special purpose machines since 1991. Our organization started in 1991 by taking-over a sick unit and continuous efforts has led to where we are today! Customer satisfaction through quality and time bound delivery schedules is our main motive.
Our clientele includes Corporate Sector, Govt. & Semi-Govt. companies like Crompton Greaves Ltd., SIEMENS India Ltd., Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Pam Pac Machines Pvt. Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., Walchandnagar Ind. Ltd., Kirloskar Electric Co. Ltd., L & T, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Diesel Modernization Works/Patiala, Zonal Railways, Railway Production Sheds, Bharat Earth Movers Ltd., etc.
Since past 22 years, we have been mainly involved in the manufacturing and machining of Traction Motor Magnet Frames, Suspension Tubes, End Shields and Assembly components which are used in Railway Locomotives. We have manufactured and supplied more than 2500nos various types of Magnet Frames like Hitachi, TM4303, C-1005, C-1001, TM 7362, TM 5002, 6FRA-6068, 6FXA-6069, etc and Suspension Tubes for Fuji C-1005, TM 7362, TM 4907, etc. We also have a major share in supplying Suspension Tubes for TM3701 for Kolkata Metro project. We have also been undertaking mechanical re-habilitation of magnet frames for traction motors of various types like TAO, TM-4907, TM-165, DMKT, etc.
We also manufacture and supply Current Transformer Steel Tanks and its assembly components. These products are completely fabricated, machined and Helium Leak tested at our works. We are also manufacturers of Structures for Blister packing and Cartoning machines which are mainly used in packing industry.
We have installed High-End Precision Horizontal Machining Centers of leading brands like Mazak and Juaristi. We have also installed a Sheffield make Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with measuring range of 1250mm x 2000mm x 1000mm having volumetric accuracy of 12microns with Renishaw Auto-indexing probe. We have 'TRIMOS' measuring unit equitable to move in 2 axis and providing accuracy within 10 microns.
